ANION NEGATIVE ION COMPACT FLOURECENT LIGHT BULBS
We have all seen the particles floating through a beam of light in a dimly lit room. First thought is how pretty it is, second thought is, “Oh my, I am breathing that in!” The air we breathe indoors is full of floating particles from dust and dead skin to molds, bacteria and other airborne concerns. Outside negatively charged ions clean the air. This is why people find the air in the mountains, near beaches and waterfalls so clean, the high number of negative ions per square inch.
Particles in the air such as dust, molds, bacteria and the like are positively charged. Negatively charged ions in the air, which can be naturally caused by things like lightening, are attracted to the positively charged particles like magnets. Once these two particles collide they are then neutrally charged and fall to the ground where there is no risk of entering our repertory system while breathing. This natural cleaning process works very well especially in areas where there is less pollutants. However our modern day homes and buildings are designed to be air-tight. This prevents the cleaning process from working. Outside there are more than 2000 negatively charged ions per square inch. Inside however, there is less than 200. It is easy to understand why then we see so much floating around in that beam of light.
What is the Solution?
It is not likely we will go back to living outdoors. Even if we did, the current problems of pollution and contaminates in our air make this solution ineffective. However our Anion Light Bulbs are no ordinary light bulbs. While the light is on it is releasing high levels of negatively charged ions into the air which quickly collide with the positively charged particles and neutralize them letting them fall safely to the floor. This prevents them from entering our respiratory system and protects us from dangerous contaminates, germs, and viruses that could bring us harm. Notice this demonstration of how quickly and effectively the Anion Light Bulb works.
Each light bulb is in a separate chamber. Both chambers are filled with cigarette smoke until the bulb is barely visible. Once the light is turned on in just over 15 seconds the chamber containing the Anion Light bulb is completely clear of smoke. This is due to the negatively charged ions released that collided with the smoke particles, neutralized them, and caused them to drop to the chamber floor.
Unlike any light bulb
you’ve ever used!
Sea Lamp™ energy efficient light bulbs are the new revolutionary light bulb with a built-in negative ion generator.
What’s the big deal about
Nowadays, our homes and offices are filled with positive ions generated by TVs, computers, other electrical devices, and harmful building materials. Positive ions are what make us feel tired, depressed and irritable. The negative ions generated from Sea Lamp™ bulbs will remove the positive ions in your home, office, or warehouse and leave the air clean and pleasant.
Energy Efficient Compact
Fluorescent (CFL) Light Bulbs
- Saves energy while saving you money
- Reduces carbon dioxide (global warming) and sulfur dioxide (acid rain)
Built-In Negative Ion
- They call them Vitamins in the Air
- Removes cigarette smoke, dust, mites, animal dander and so much more!*
- Leaves air cleaner, fresher and healthier
- Reduces things like e-coli and is ozone free after 3 hours*
Changing the World Starts with
FACT: The energy used in the average home can be responsible for more than twice the greenhouse gas emissions of the average car. When you use less energy at home, you reduce greenhouse gas emissions from power plants and help protect our environment from the risks of global climate change.

HOW IT WORKS:
It Removes particles from the air. Most particles that ”float” in the air are positively charged. These particles act as large “rafts” for toxic chemicals and disease organisms – not the kind of thing you want to breathe. Negative ions are attracted to this positive charge like the opposing poles of a magnet. When the negative ion gives up its charge to the particle, it becomes attracted to other positively-charged particles in the air, forming masses that are too heavy to remain suspended. Causing the contaminated air particles to fall to the ground where they are no longer inhaled or contact with the body.
How Negative Ions and Ozone Clean the Air
“Electronically emitting nature’s most powerful air-cleansing agents over a large area. ”
Why negative ions and low-level ozone?
Negative ions and ozone are nature’s most powerful air-cleansing agents. There is nothing in the world more effective in taking allergens and contaminates out of the air we breathe. Unfortunately, due to the tight construction of today’s homes and buildings, they are unable to take effect within indoor environments.
Negative ions and ozone are created by nature, and found at their most optimal levels where the air is most pure and healthy. These places typically include up in the mountains, near waterfalls, where lightning has just occurred, in open meadows away from “the city”, and the ocean shore by the crashing waves.
Negative Ion Facts:
- Approved by the U.S. FDA (Food & Drug Admin.) as an approved allergy treatment.
- Ionization is mandatory in many European and Russian Hospitals.
- In March of 1999, Good Housekeeping Magazine had its engineers test an ionizer by using a smoke test, and found that it cleared out the smoke in a tank.
- A recent study by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture found that ionizing a room led to 52% less dust in the air, and 95% less bacteria in the air (since many of the pollutants found in the air reside on floating dust particles).
It really works well. I can even have an occasional cigar and the odor is completely gone the next morning. – M. Demcho, Ohio
What are negative ions?
Negative ions are electrically-charged particles in the air that remove airborne contaminates from the air we breathe, and have a rejuvenating effect when interacting with physiological systems (such as the respiratory system).
Have you ever noticed that how refreshing the air is when you are in the mountains, or by a waterfall? Or how revitalized you feel?
The explanation for this is that there are usually at least 2,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter (which is optimal) in these environments. On the other hand, there are only a couple hundred negative ions per cubic cm. in the typical indoor environment.
The reason indoor environments lack the electrical “nutrients of the air” that we need is that today’s “air-tight” homes and buildings prevent them from treating the air inside.
Plus, most homes and buildings are in urban settings and other places where the earth is covered by mostly concrete and asphalt. Large amounts of concrete and asphalt, and other structures fabricated by man tend to disrupt the air’s electrical balance in areas where they reside. Most electronic devices IE, TV’S , Computers ect generate excessive amounts of POSITIVE IONS causing the air in our homes and offices to become more unhealthy.
How do negative ions remove pollutants from the air?
Negatively-charged negative ions attach themselves to contaminates and allergens, which are positively charged. The newly-formed larger particles are then able to fall to the ground, and out of the air we breathe.
Most floating contaminates and allergens are positively charged, and of course, negative ions are negatively charged. In environments where high densities of negative ions exist, they are able to reverse the charge of floating contaminates to a negative charge.
This results in a magnetic attraction among the floating pollutants in the air, causing them to aggregate, or clump together.
As a result, they become too heavy to remain floating in the air, and fall harmlessly to the ground, where they cannot find their way into your respiratory tract.
At this point, even if they are inhaled before falling out of the air, these now larger particles are able to be intercepted by the “filters” of the upper respiratory tract, due to their increased size.
Of course, without a continual generation of negative ions, some of these enlarged pollutants can find their way back into the air. Negative Ion Light Bulb are designed for continual use, ensuring pollutants stay out of the air you breathe.
Some studies suggest that negative ions also have a biological effect on bacteria and viruses, killing them on contact in many cases.
