Infinity Laser Clinic uses the golden-standard Fotona XP-2 Focus laser technology for safety and efficacy in all our foot and skin care treatments. With its most recent advances, laser is becoming the preferred method in treating a range of issues such as toenail fungus, skin blemishes, veins, birthmarks, and facial changes due to aging.
A laser works by emitting an intense beam of bright light that travels in one direction. Each laser is made to produce a specific color (wavelength) of light. Different lasers with different wavelengths and power outputs are tailored for different medical applications.
Fontana’s XP-2 Focus is what’s known as a Q-Switch Nd:YAG at wavelength of 1064nm pulse and Quasi continues wave (QCW) mode operation.. It is non-ablative, which means that it doesn’t rupture your skin during the treatment. It is safe and effective, with no downtime or discomfort and a low risk of complications for all skin types (i.e. scarring, pigment discolouration).
The Q-Switch Nd:YAG laser is very effective on skin rejuvenation, wrinkle and acne scar reduction, non-ablative skin surfacing, pigment and vascular lesion removal, hair removal and vein treatments. One of the biggest benefits of lasers is that they are very targeted, sparing the surrounding skin.
These are some of the many benefits of using Laser therapy:
- Improved therapeutic results
- Non-invasive procedures
- Reduced risk of infection
- Precisely controlled treatments which limits injury to normal skin
- An alternative to traditional scalpel surgery
- Potentially less or no scarring
- Safe and effective out-patient / same-day treatment for many foot and skin conditions
- Less painful in many cases
